You can now email your certs when in the Clik Cert Electrical app.
Please note: the screenshots in this guide are taken from an iOS tablet so images/icons may differ in the Android version.
First, you will need to give your field engineers access to create and print PDFs from the office software. To do this go to View > Staff.
Next, select the field engineer you want to create PDF, select ‘Privileges’ and tick the ‘Allow’ box on the ‘Can output certificates (Print, PDF)’ privilege.
For more information on setting user privileges, see this support article.
Now that’s done let us see how you can email, print or save the PDF from your device. Go to your ‘Certificates List’ and select a certificate. Tap on the menu icon () in the top right-hand side of the certificate and select ‘Download PDF’.
You will then be prompted to select the print mode. Here, choose ‘draft certificate’ or ‘certificate details’.
The PDF preview will then appear. Tap the upload icon () at the top of the window to see the output options. To email the draft cert, you will need to select the appropriate email app option that you have available.
In this example, we used the Mail function for iOS. This will then open the email window, so you can enter the recipient and any message details before pressing the send icon.
This feature was added in iOS Build 1.0.11 and Android Build 1.0.9. Make sure your apps are up-to-date and you are running NICEIC Cert Software update v1.0.48 or above to access the new additions and improvements.
