First, you will need to give your field engineers access to create and print PDFs. To do this, in the office software, go to View > Staff.
Next, select the field engineer you want to create PDF, select ‘Privileges’ and tick the ‘Allow’ box on the ‘Can output certificates (Print, PDF)’. For more information regarding user privileges, see this guide.
Now that’s done let us see how you can create the PDF from your device.
Go to your ‘Cert List’, select a cert or create a new one. Click on the menu icon () and select ‘Download PDF’.
To print the downloaded PDF, you can then select ‘Certificate’ or ‘Circuit Details Schedule’ and click ‘Ok’.
You will also be given options to add ‘Additional Notes’ and ‘Notes for recipient’ click ‘OK’.
You can now open the PDF in adobe or save it to your device. Not you have created the PDF, you will be able to email it to your client with an app of your choice.
This feature was added in Android Build 1.0.9 and iOS Build 1.0.11. Make sure you to update your app to get the latest improvements. You will also need to be running NICEIC Cert Software v1.0.48.4 or above to access the required privileges.
