You can set up notifications to appear when a quote status is set. This is particularly useful when a customer accepts or rejects a quote, triggering an SMS, email or popup.
Go to Settings > Settings > Communication > Property Change Notification.
To add a new property change notification, click on ‘Add’ and select ‘Quote Status’ for the type.
Close this window and set the target to identify what will trigger the notification. In the example below, we are creating a notification for when a quote has been rejected.
Next, you can select the type of notification you wish to receive. Under the ‘Actions/Recipients’ tab, click on ‘Add’. Select the type and close that window to see it appear on your list.
Select ‘Configure’ and here you can select the recipients that will receive the notifications by selecting ‘Add Individual’ or ‘Add Group’. Once you are happy with the selection(s), click ‘Close’. You can then alter the message that will be received, including the subject and message body.
When finished, click ‘Done’.
