This article will explain how you can set up your engineers as field users in the NICEIC Cert Software. This will allow the user to log into Field Mode and Clik Cert Electrical.
Note: You must be logged in as the admin account or as a user that has appropriate staff privileges to first before you can complete the following steps. See more about privileges here.
In the office software, go to View > Staff.
Here you will be able to view all your staff. Field users are indicated by the van icon in the staff list:
To create a new user, select Add Staff Member > Add Field Engineer.
This will then prompt you to add the name and password for the new user. Fill in the details and click ‘Ok’.
The user will then be created and automatically be marked as an engineer in the ‘Details’ tab.
Click ‘Save’ to confirm any changes and sync the user details to the cloud.
When creating a new field user, you will be notified of the pin code required to log in for the first time. You can also find steps on finding a new pin code here.
The engineer will then be able to log into Field Mode with the password and username set up (the first name and surname of the staff user will be the username when logging into Field Mode).
