Prior to these steps, please ensure you have already installed the software using this article.
This article will explain how you can network the NICEIC Cert Software. Remember to check our requirements before continuing. You should be following these steps on the server or if you don’t have a server the main computer that you would like to share the database from.
Once logged in, go to File > Network Setup. This will close the program and then open the network wizard.
Select ‘Server’ and click ‘Next’.
You will then get the below box explaining what the program will do. Click ‘Next’.
The next screen will tell you the setup has been completed, click ‘Finish’.
Now the software has been shared, you need to install the software onto any client machines that need access to this database.
For client setup, install the software on the client machines by following our Installing the NICEIC Cert Software article, then follow the Client Install instructions in this subsequent Installation Types article.
