This article will explain how you can import your address book, test instruments, distribution board library, PAT Certificates, signatures and reminders.
Please note, it will not bring over your 17th edition certificates or your templates. We do have another article on how to create templates here.
To begin go to Tools > Data Importer.
You will now need to select your type of data from your old NICEIC Cert Software; for most on the old software, this will be Microsoft Access. You shouldn’t need to put a password in, just keep the default one that has been filled in for you.
Next, you will need to select where the data is going to, in this case, we will do Access again and this will overwrite the database with the information from your old NICEIC software.
Click next and then select the parts you want to import. If you want to import everything, select the ‘Select All’ button and click ‘Next’.
This will now convert all your saved items and you will receive a ‘Conversion has completed’ message. Click ‘Finish’ and that’s it.
