Note: This article refers to NICEIC Cert Software V1 (2008-2018). For newer guides for the 18th edition software (2019) please see the NICEIC Cert Software support pages.
This article will show you how to use the circuit details drop-down menus in your NICEIC Certification Software.
We introduced these drop-downs for the following columns: Circuit Designation, Ratings, Live CSA, CPC CSA, Max disconnection time and RCD Operating Current.
As you can see below, these arrows will now appear within the circuit details section. If you would like to hide them until you click on a field, you can do this by going to edit > default settings and untick the always show circuit details drop-down buttons.
When you start typing in the circuit detail cells, a drop-down menu will highlight relevant options based on what you type. You can select these to auto-fill your cell by clicking enter on your keyboard.
You can also click on the arrows and select a drop down option.
We have added some options to these fields for you by default, but you can add and edit your drop-down menu options in edit > default settings > edit circuit details dropdowns.
You will then be shown the below window.
From here you can add a new drop-down option and re-order them using the arrows on the right.
